Been looking on some old sketchbooks and found some old school sketches I've done in the past.

My Collection

I've been wanting to archive all my collectibles digitally and possibly compile a hard copy in a binder. I created a quick photo shoot setup in the basement to take pictures in multiple views. Then, I import the images into Photoshop to create the final layout that includes a brief description of any details and features about the items.
As a collector, before purchasing an item, I've always searched the internet for reviews or images of the product itself to see how it looks aside from the manufacturers stock pictures. I like to see what the actual product really looks like in final production not just a snapshot. Considering the price tag of these items I have to carefully choose my purchases. Seeing pictures of the actual collectible, especially when taken by another collector, helps me decide if a character is a worthy item. I hope these pictures can help fellow collectors or anyone that is interested in these type of collectibles in deciding if they want an item or not. Maybe later on I will add some quick reviews for each collectible. For now I'll start by just capturing the images.
My collection includes a variety of themes and types, from small action figures, premium 1/6 scale figures to replicas and props. When I started collecting, I tried to stick with one theme to collect to save myself money but unfortunately I like a lot of different things which just led to more cool stuff to buy. Since I can't really afford to buy everything I want and with these things being so darn expensive, I am getting more selective as to which ones to buy.
Well, here are some that I've taken and compiled recently over the last few weeks. I do have a lot more and will try and get them archived as soon as I can. Enjoy the pics!

Daily Sketching
I've decided once again to start a daily sketch exercise. This means I'll be posting a sketch per day. It's something I've done in the past but unfortunately stopped along the way. Browsing through the internet and passing by a few websites that did similar things has really inspired me to delve back into sketching. Sketching product concepts, comic characters or whatever comes to mind has always been a passion of mine.
My goals are similar to what others in the field are doing. I want to continue to grow as a designer/artist and inspire others to sketch just like I've been inspired.
These daily sketches are by no means perfect sketches. These will be raw sketches that can vary from a doodle to a more refined drawing of whatever it is that comes to mind.
Here are some random sketches I've done in the last few days. Relax, enjoy and happy sketching!
